The Clean Water Act of 1977 addressed only a limited range of conventional, non-conventional, and toxic pollutants. It provided extended compliance deadlines for industries acting in good faith and strengthened the pretreatment program to protect municipal treatment plants. However, it did not prioritize drinking water quality, leaving the legal limits as they are today.

WATER SOFTENERS
Water softeners remove hard minerals, such as magnesium, calcium, and iron, from your water. They work through a process called ion exchange, where resin beads exchange the ions of hard minerals with sodium or potassium ions. Â

WARRANTY
- For the lifetime of the original owner, the mineral tank will not rust, corrode, leak, burst, or in any form fail to perform its proper function.
- For a period often years, the salt tank will be free of defects in materials and workmanship and will perform its proper function.
- For a period of three years, the valve body, electronic faceplate, and all other parts will be free of defects in materials and workmanship and will perform their normal functions.Â
WATER CONDITIONERS
A water conditioner reduces water contaminants and scale buildup. Water conditioners use beads to attract hard water, forming crystals. These crystals are unable to bond to surfaces or form limescale.Â
